Louise Brown - First IVF Baby


 

 

Drs Robert Edwards and Patrick Steptoe succeeded in achieving the world's first IVF baby, Louise Brown. Dr. Edwards earned the Nobel Prize for this achievement in 2010. Dr. Rizk joined the IVF pioneers first as their fellow then as a lecturer at the University of Cambridge.

Dr. Rizk celebrated her tenth birthday with one thousand IVF babies at Bourn Hall in Cambridge. Dr. Rizk and the heads of the world's leading IVF centers honored Prof. Edwards for the 30th anniversary of IVF in the library of Alexandria.

Dr. Rizk also celebrated Louise's 40 th birthday at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London in 2018.
